Our Ingredient Standards
Every Covet Labs formula is engineered to exclude the harsh chemicals that can shorten extension life or irritate the scalp. Here's what we formulate against:*
NO AMMONIA OR AMMONIA DERIVATIVES
Can lift the cuticle and cause brittleness in extensions.
NO SULFATES
Strip natural oils, drying out both natural and extension hair.
NO PARABENS
Preservatives that may degrade fiber quality over time.
NO DRYING ALCOHOLS
Like SD Alcohol 40 or isopropyl alcohol, which roughen extension cuticles.
NO METALLIC SALTS
Can react unpredictably with color or bleach and damage fibers.
NO PPD & PTD
Sensitizing ingredients that can compromise extension integrity.
